Virtual Sales Assistant The Virtual Sales Assistants (VSA) monitor a web-based chat console and respond to chat requests from consumers shopping on various client's websites. In responding to these requests the VSAs must be prepared to: · Respond within 5 seconds to chat requests · Be professional in tone, grammar and address · Be proficient in typing, copying and pasting and maneuvering online to locate answers within seconds · Practice active listening skills · Multi-task, that is, handle multiple chats at once, seek multiple pieces of information while maintaining fluid conversations · Maintain a customer focused attitude at all times · Receive critiques and instruction in ways to improve their performance · Work as a member of a team, offering assistance to others when needed, acting responsibly in daily activities · Ask questions of shoppers in a way that is non-intrusive or off-putting, including contact information · Constantly learn and adapt to become better and more developed
